What a bunch of cults!

Angry and Cliff (now with added Ben)

The podcast returns with a sense of normality as Angry, Cliff and Ben discuss Cliff’s drunken debut at a blogmeet to celebrate the launch of Sex and Bowls and Rock and Roll, Ben explains how he was attacked twice in a week, and Angry gives his reasons for hating Scientology.

We also get a small glimpse into the inner workings of the minds of your hosts, we look at the best and worst of the week’s TV in the BBC’s Sherlock and Channel 5’s Don’t Stop Believing, and we get a history lesson regarding the Manic Street Preachers’ track ‘Kevin Carter’.

All this plus jobless truck drivers selling the Ritz to gullible idiots, the Royal family on Flickr and we discuss the best endings possible to the ongoing will they / won’t they saga in the latest BT adverts.

It’s a good’un, even if we do say so ourselves.

oh my lord! i actually spat beer out when you started doing the “internal thoughts” bit. so very funny, but a shock it took so long. a moment of shear genius. what the hell ben is doing in your head is a worry though.
looking forward to more of the cult of the week too.
ben and cliff to star in their own brokeback mountain whilst on holiday?

two things:.
1. whats happened to the little out-take things you used to put aty the end?
2. i’m on holiday the next two weeks. if you want to think of summat to chat about, i can ring you!

Sime – believe it or not, there are no out-takes at the end because Cliff has stopped making mistakes! I know, it’s very hard to believe…

We’ll have a think about the phone-in…

it’s amazing what threats and physical punishment can do for professionalism.
