No hope for Pope bloke

April 13, 2010

Podcast 65 and our first podcast since the election campaigns began in earnest.  A fact we decided to ignore completely, choosing instead to focus on Cliff’s correspondence with an Iraq-based millionaire, Angry’s first BBQ of the year and Ben’s uncanny soundalike, Louie Spence.

People might argue that as a so-called ‘topical’ podcast we should be focussing on the general election, but we would argue that if we did that, who would be left to talk about Doctor Who being influenced by LSD, the return of Tiger Woods, and the best way to make a citizen’s arrest of the Pope.  Hmmm?

So you get all this, plus the birthday of Guy Fawkes, the first elephant ever imported to the US, and arguably the least interesting American history lesson you’ll ever hear (it’s less than a minute, you’ll be fine).

Don’t forget you can find us on Facebook and Twitter, if you’re into that sort of thing, or just subscribe on iTunes if you’re not.

That’s actually the wife’s website. Can you believe that I am about to subscribe to you on iTunes? It’s like downloading a Clerkenwell lunchtime circa 2001. Except with less gravy or eels. Very funny gentlemen. Let’s do lunch. (No eels).
